The Recruitment Business Partner acts as a strategic link between the HR department and senior stakeholders to ensure the acquisition of high-quality talent aligned with the company's 2026 growth strategy. This role focuses on driving recruitment efficiencies, reducing dependency on external agencies, and supporting business leaders with workforce planning and headcount stability. By providing expert market insights and managing the end-to-end talent lifecycle, you will protect company margins while ensuring a seamless candidate experience that reflects our corporate values and ESG commitments.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for department heads to define talent requirements and execute proactive workforce planning.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, utilising LinkedIn Recruiter and internal networks to maximise direct hires and minimise agency spend.
- Provide dedicated recruitment and onboarding support to facilitate the seamless integration of staff following business acquisitions.
- Monitor recruitment expenditure against the 2026 budget, ensuring all hiring activities align with forecasted financial targets.
- Implement and maintain standardised global hiring processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all UK and international regions.
- Promote the company's CSR and ESG initiatives within the talent market to enhance employer attractiveness and retention.
- Produce regular reporting on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and retention rates of new starters.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to identify turnover trends and implement strategies that support long-term headcount stability.
- Demonstrate proven ability to influence and challenge senior leaders regarding hiring decisions and workforce strategy.
- Demonstrate advanced skills in headhunting, Boolean searching, and building diverse talent pipelines without external support.
- Show understanding of recruitment budgets, cost-per-hire analysis, and the impact of turnover on company margins.
- Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand professionally to external candidates.
- Demonstrate expert skills in offer management and salary negotiation to ensure competitive but budget-compliant hiring.
- Experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and using data to drive recruitment improvements.
- Level 5 or higher is highly desirable (or equivalent experience in a professional HR/Recruitment environment).
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent professional standard.
- Legal knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of UK Employment Law, specifically Right to Work, GDPR, and IR35 regulations.
- Previous experience in a Business Partnering role, preferably within a fast-paced or acquisitive business.
