We're looking for an experienced Protection professional to lead and develop our Sales and Retention teams within Everywhen Employee Benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Business Protection and Financial Services who enjoys coaching people, building insurer relationships, delivering outstanding customer outcomes, and driving sustainable growth.
Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you'll play a key role in shaping our Protection proposition, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and compliance across the team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of Protection Consultants across new business and retention.
- Delivering growth through both new client acquisition and retention of existing customers.
- Supporting the achievement of protection revenue and business performance targets.
- Maintaining strong relationships with insurers, providers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring the team delivers compliant advice and consistently positive customer outcomes.
- Driving cross-referral opportunities across the wider Health and Employee Benefits business.
- Monitoring performance, providing feedback and supporting professional development.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of Everywhen's Protection proposition.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience within Financial Services and the Protection market.
- Experience leading, coaching or mentoring sales and retention teams.
- Strong knowledge of Protection products and customer needs.
- A track record of delivering growth through new business and client retention.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
