Overview
This is a 9 month fixed term contract, with the possibility it may be extended to 12 months.
An exciting remote opportunity has arisen to join our IT Operations team, reporting to our Head of Core Systems, as an Applications Delivery Manager within the insurance market. You will be responsible for delivering Change related workflows for our two main Policy Administration Systems, Acturis and Open GI (OGI), and solution delivery to Ardonagh Advisory business owners and stakeholders. This will include the onboarding, integration and migration of broker acquisitions from source platforms to our strategic Policy Administration Systems, and overseeing the development, migrations and releases on both software platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Application Delivery workstream of our Integrations programme, across Acturis and OGI, ensuring the successful delivery of all change requests through the SDLC.
- Collaborate with the Head of Core Systems to define and execute the Policy Administration Systems (PAS) migration roadmap and ensure these are aligned with the company\’s business goals.
- Oversee the progression of migration tasks, ensuring adherence to the development life cycle for the solutions, from requirements gathering and analysis, through design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Manage resource allocation and project task prioritisation to help maximise return on investment and deliver on key business objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including vendors and offshore development teams.
- Help to develop, promote and enforce best practices in software engineering, including code quality, security, and scalability.
- Help deliver on the wider strategic goals of the insurance group by implementing reusable and maintainable solutions.

- Project management skills, adaptability with the ability to foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement whilst responding positively to change.
You will need to be a self-motivated highly organised team player who can use their initiative to get tasks completed, accurately and to tight deadlines. Some travel to sites may be required as per business requirements.
