The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Motor Trade Underwriting Manager with in excess of 10 years experience with an insurer of underwriting and currently performing to a senior underwriter license level.

Experience required:

  • Cross class product knowledge including strong property/liability experience.
  • Experience attending client meetings and surveys.
  • Knowledge of Insurer placement.
  • Passion for new business.
  • Experience in training and development of staff.
  • Experience handling mid-corporate cases.
  • Increasing GWP with various other insurers to gain another binder.
  • Working with our sales team to ensure quality of business is maintained.
  • Working with our claims team to make sure submission of motor trade claims are correct and all relevant information is provided.
  • Identifying problem areas to ensure loss ratios are as good as they can be.
