Responsibilities

  • Ensure all HR/Employment Law documentation is compliant with current legislation.
  • Provide the highest level of support for clients.
  • Complete and return work to clients within a reasonable timescale (two weeks from visit date).
  • Always portray a professional image throughout duties.
  • Keep knowledge updated through CPD.
  • Travel within the UK to carry out annual audits of clients HR procedures and management systems (including occasional extensive travel and overnight stays).
  • Compile formal policies and procedures for distribution to clients.
  • Compile Statements of Main Terms & Conditions of Employment and Employee Handbooks for clients.
  • Assist with preparation of letters/documentation for disciplinary, grievances, etc. as required by the client or company.
  • Provide clients with up-to-date and accurate advice on HR/Employment Law topics, ensuring compliance with legislation and LFA.
  • Carry out formal meetings on the client’s behalf such as disciplinary investigations, appeals, etc.
  • Liaise with solicitors/ACAS on behalf of the client.
  • Provide additional information/assistance/documentation as requested.
  • Carry out additional visits where requested by the client or business.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years HR experience.
  • Preferably CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Member of the CIPD.
  • Full driving licence required to allow travel throughout the UK as and when required.
