Our Business Protection Advisers are a key part of our business, speaking to our clients and providing advice on all aspects of business protection, including key person protection, shareholder protection, executive income protection, loan protection and relevant life cover.

What you will do as a Business Protection Adviser
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
- New Business Income through new client acquisition, primarily from converting leads generated from your relationships with key introducer partners within Ardonagh, but also from self-generated new business opportunities.
- Customer satisfaction, as measured by internal customer satisfaction surveys and Investors in Customers surveys (or equivalent external measures).
- Relationship Management with the Company's lead generation and customer service teams, and account management personnel within insurers and other providers.
- Working closely with colleagues across our employee benefit teams, to identify opportunities for onward referrals.
What we are looking for in our Business Protection Adviser
- Experience within the Financial Services market, with some experience or intermediate working knowledge of Business Protection essential.
- Minimum of Cert CII RO5 or willingness to study towards qualification.
- Experience in successfully converting potential customer enquiries essential.
- Experience in relationship building with Insurers/Providers, Clients and Account Managers.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs.
- Experience in Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics.
- A proven ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of customers to deliver targets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Well organised and able to respond well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Working well as part of a team as well as being able to work for periods using own initiative.
- Copes well with change, internally within the business and externally within the market.
