We're looking for an experienced Senior Claims Handler to join our Claims team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong claims professional who enjoys managing complex claims, supporting clients, and mentoring colleagues.
What will you do as a Senior Claims Handler?
You'll be responsible for delivering a proactive, efficient, and high-quality claims service, ensuring clients receive expert support throughout the claims process.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of claims across a range of insurance classes.

Acting as a technical referral point for colleagues.
-
Producing and analysing claims reports and management information.
-
Supporting clients with complex and large-loss claims.
-
Working closely with Account Executives and New Business teams to provide claims insights and support client retention and growth.

Ensuring claims are handled in line with company procedures, delegated authority agreements, and FCA requirements.

Coaching and supporting less experienced team members.
What are we looking for in our next Senior Claims Handler?

Strong general insurance claims experience, ideally within a broking environment.

Cert CII and/or Cert CILA qualifications is desirable.

Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to interpret policy wordings.

Experience analysing claims data and identifying trends.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Excellent organisation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues.
-
Specialist knowledge in one or more areas of general insurance claims.
