We have an amazing opportunity for a Business Interruption Adjuster to join our team. Thompson & Bryan are long established and highly respected niche Loss Adjusters, headquartered in London but with UK and global reach. We occupy a unique position in the Loss Adjusting and Assessing sector, employing a loyal, highly skilled team focused on large and complex losses in a commercial and high net worth environments.
Working as a Business Interruption Adjuster for policyholders, you will support the team in providing an effective and efficient claims service to our clients. Dealing effectively with all claims allocated, ensuring company policy, procedure and regulatory requirements are always adhered to.
What you will do as a Business Interruption Adjuster:
- Efficiently handle all claims allocated to them.
- Claims handler shall be responsible for a designated caseload, handling claims from cradle to grave and liaising extensively with clients, insurers, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
- Refer claims which fall outside of their personal authority levels to line manager.
- Gather and process information as directed, to support the effective assessment of more complex cases.
- Maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development as well as ongoing desk training and ensuring this is recorded in line with Training & Competency and CPD requirements.
- Always conduct the business of the company in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Act for the policyholder.
- Be responsible for adhering to all the group’s procedures and policies in relation to the identification and management of potential conflicts of interest and for the fair treatment of customers, ensuring they follow the systems and controls operating, to ensure this is the case.
