The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

24 hour service working days/nights and weekends, enhancements paid for unsocial hours. Full-time and part-time roles available. Part-time roles are for cover of weekday evening and weekend shifts; ideal for people looking to balance work with other daytime commitments.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

The role: As a Mental Health Advisor, you will provide initial telephone and text-based support to Service Users experiencing mental health distress and crisis. Taking calls for our North Yorkshire, York and Selby NHS 111 Option 2 service and providing text support to residents of South London and Maudsley.

About you: We would love to hear from you if you have the following experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of working 1:1 with service users with complex needs
  • Demonstrable experience working within Health, social care or VCSE systems
  • Awareness of Health and Social care systems
  • Awareness of national and local organisations and other resources that can support individuals to improve and maintain good mental health
  • Awareness of recovery in the context of mental health
  • Awareness of the effects of stigma and discrimination
  • Awareness of issues surrounding homelessness, financial inclusion or substance misuse
