Everyturn Mental Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead to join our non-clinical crisis services. This pivotal role will support the Service Manager in organising and developing service provision, ensuring safety, managing resources, and creating robust support networks and pathways for people accessing our services. This is a full-time, permanent position. Travel across our North East services is an essential requirement of the role, and therefore you must be a driver with access to a vehicle.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the needs of people accessing the service and their carers, ensuring all records and outcomes meet quality standards and are person-centred.
  • Support, advise, and review non-clinical crisis support to ensure timely and appropriate services.
  • Assist the Service Manager in developing partnerships and pathways across the local system.
  • Identify, support, and escalate risk appropriately to mitigate harm.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide supervision to Team Managers, Seniors, and Mental Health Case Workers.
  • Conduct regular service audits and provide reports on incidents or near misses to support governance and quality assurance.
  • Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties to meet organisational needs.

What we're looking for:

  • NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • Significant post-registration experience working with people with complex mental health needs.
  • Proven track record of achieving agreed service outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and investigative skills.
  • Excellent IT, MS Office, and CRM proficiency.
  • High emotional resilience, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering positive team relationships.
  • Advanced understanding of complex mental health conditions and behaviours.
  • Experience in robust risk management and dealing with highly emotive or challenging behaviours.
  • Knowledge of local and national mental health policies, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and supervising staff.

Important to know:

  • Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional evening and weekend working required.
  • Occasional out of hours on call on a rota basis.
