Our new 12 - 14-bed service will provide specialist, clinically-led community rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs, offering 24/7 clinical support in a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

About the role

As a Staff Nurse, you will coordinate day-to-day service delivery, provide leadership to the team, and work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers to assess needs, develop support plans, and deliver interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred, outcomes-focused care, ensuring dignity and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assess and meet the needs of service users and carers, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Manage team resources effectively to achieve agreed outcomes and standards of care.
  • Safely administer and dispense medication in line with professional guidance.
  • Coach and mentor student and newly qualified nurses, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Assist the Service Manager and Clinical Lead in meeting regulatory and quality standards.
  • Identify and manage risks proactively, implementing measures to reduce harm.
  • Conduct audits of service delivery and clinical practice, recommending improvements.
  • Address and manage team conflict constructively, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Deputise for the Clinical Lead as required and undertake reasonable duties to support high standards of care.

What we’re looking for

  • NMC First Level Registered Nurse with post-registration experience.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that challenge.
  • Skilled in medication administration and clinical decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health policies, safeguarding, and professional standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop staff, work independently, and foster positive team relationships.
  • Competent in IT systems and highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Emotional resilience and commitment to ongoing professional development.

We are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members. In return for the hard work and dedication from our teams, we offer the following benefits:

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 32 days at 5 years' service) pro-rata for part-time and the option to purchase or sell day.
