We have the exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join us at Pinetree Lodge!
- Time at 1.3 of hourly rate for after 8pm and on Saturdays
- Time at 1.6 of hourly rate for Sundays and Bank Holiday
Pinetree Lodge supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia who, because of this organic brain disease, have behaviors that challenge which means they are unable to live in the wider community.
Our team of experienced Registered Nurses & Support Workers led by Clinical Leads work closely to undertake assessments in order to provide person centered therapeutic interventions to minimize any risks associated with these behaviors.
For our dementia care services, we believe passionately in providing good care to people with dementia and their families.
We also believe that it is entirely possible for a person with dementia to live a good quality and meaningful life.
With the right help, this is a reasonable expectation for anybody living with dementia.

We have high levels of qualified nursing staff available 24 hours a day, who are supported by our dedicated team of support workers, to enable our residents to:

- Maintain independence, choice and control.
- Stay in touch with their local communities and be active citizens.
- Have a sense of stability and consistency.
Facilities-wise, our services are well-equipped to meet the physical health care needs of the people we care for, with a number of separate lounge and dining areas, fully assisted baths, and wet rooms.
We work hard to keep things as homely and relaxed as possible.

About you
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following
- Are an NMC Registered Mental Health or RNLD with relevant mental health experience with a valid Pin.
- We welcome applications from newly qualified Mental Health nurses.
- Experience of working with people who have complex mental health problems and who can present with behaviours that challenge.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a genuine desire to care for this client group and can appreciate that all our service users are individuals and take a person-centred approach in your work.
- Can demonstrate an empathic attitude and can keep our values at the heart of what you do.
- Flexibility - shift patterns do include weekends and nights, and you may need to work at either service based on the service needs.
