Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Team

Full-time (37.5 hours per week) | Permanent | Hybrid

At Everyturn Mental Health, we’re committed to improving access to high-quality mental health support across the UK. We’re looking for a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Team on a full-time basis. This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

About the role

We’re on the lookout for passionate, High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic NHS Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies team. If you're driven to make a meaningful impact in your community while working in a supportive, innovative environment – this is your opportunity. As a High Intensity CBT Therapist with us, you'll play a central role in transforming lives. You’ll deliver evidence-based CBT interventions for people experiencing depression and a range of anxiety disorders, in line with NICE guidance. You’ll work within a stepped care model, ensuring people receive the least intrusive, most effective treatment tailored to their needs. This is a hybrid role, you'll work at least one day a week in a local hub or community venue across Nottinghamshire, helping break down barriers and improve accessibility for the people we serve. You’ll also work one evening shift a week (12pm-8pm), allowing you to support clients who may not be able to access services during traditional hours. Your flexibility will make a real difference.

What you'll do

  • Deliver CBT interventions to a clinical caseload
  • Complete assessments, risk management, and clinical documentation
  • Meet agreed activity targets to support timely access to treatment
  • Work collaboratively within a stepped care model (step-up/step-down)
  • Maintain accurate records in line with service protocols
  • Support service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement

About you

We'd love to hear from you if you possess the following:

  • Postgraduate qualification in High Intensity CBT (or equivalent)
  • Experience in NHS Talking Therapies / primary care mental health
  • Strong track record of delivering positive clinical outcomes
  • Experience managing high-volume caseloads
  • Knowledge of NICE guidelines and stepped care model
  • Excellent risk assessment and clinical decision‑making skills
  • Strong communication, analytical, and IT skills
