Everyturn Mental Health is recruiting a High Intensity Therapist to join our NHS Wirral Talking Therapies Service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing service dedicated to improving outcomes for people experiencing anxiety disorders and depression through evidence-based psychological therapies. This role offers an excellent development and progression opportunity for clinicians who are newly qualified, recently accredited, returning to practice, or looking to transition into NHS Talking Therapies from another mental health setting. You'll be supported to further develop your clinical expertise within a well-established and innovative service.

Important Eligibility Requirements

  • This opportunity is not open to clinicians currently employed within an NHS Talking Therapies service in a High Intensity Therapist role.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
  • Applicants must hold a Postgraduate Diploma in High Intensity Psychological Interventions or an equivalent accredited CBT qualification and/or have completed an accredited EMDR training programme.
  • Be professionally accredited with the relevant body (e.g. BABCP or EMDR UK), or be fully eligible and working towards accreditation.
  • Have the ability to work within all service operation hours, between 9am-8pm.

About the role

As a High Intensity Therapist, you will provide disorder-specific assessments, formulation and evidence-based CBT and/or EMDR interventions for people experiencing anxiety disorders and depression. You will deliver NICE-compliant Step 3 interventions across a range of settings, including face-to-face, telephone, online and community-based appointments throughout Wirral.

About you

We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate clinicians who can demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering evidence-based CBT and/or EMDR interventions.
  • Strong assessment, formulation and risk management skills.
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload and work to service targets.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible and collaborative approach to service delivery.
  • NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Supervisor qualification or equivalent supervisory experience.
