Working collaboratively with colleagues across clinical, operational and corporate services, you'll identify, develop and secure opportunities that align with our strategic objectives and help us reach more people who need mental health support.

  • Using data, insight and market intelligence to inform business development activity.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of bid management processes and resources.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues to enhance bid development capability across the organisation.
  • Ensuring quality, compliance and consistency across all submissions.

About you

  • Demonstrable experience of developing high-quality, winning bids and proposals.
  • A strong understanding of how NHS services are commissioned and procured, with an awareness of the wider commissioning landscape.
  • Experience engaging and building relationships with commissioners, partners and senior stakeholders, including Director and Executive-level colleagues.
  • Knowledge of bid management best practice, including opportunity planning, win themes, bid strategy and persuasive response writing.
  • Experience in project management, risk management and data analysis.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into compelling proposals.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience of coaching, mentoring or supporting colleagues to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
