We are looking for a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Service. This is a hybrid role with 30 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, service hours between 8 am and 8 pm, with the expectation of at least one late shift per week (12‑8). The role is not eligible for sponsorship.
Key responsibilities
- Provide disorder‑specific assessments and evidence‑based low intensity CBT interventions for people with anxiety disorders and/or depression.
- Deliver telephone and online treatment, CBT programmes, and psycho‑educational groups, courses, workshops, webinars, and one‑to‑one work.
- Adapt treatments to make services more accessible and support continuous evaluation of effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Manage a high‑volume caseload by prioritising and organising workload effectively.
- Participate in clinical CPD, self‑care sessions and utilise high‑quality resources to support clients.
Required qualifications and experience
- Holds a PG or UG certificate in Low Intensity Interventions from a recognised BPS accredited PWP training provider, or a MSci Applied Psychology with integrated PWP qualification and dual BPS accreditation, or a PWP Apprenticeship training qualification from a BPS accredited programme.
- Hold PWP Registration (or be working towards) with BABCP or BPS.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality disorder‑specific assessments and low‑intensity CBT interventions that meet local and national targets.
- Excellent therapeutic, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to undertake comprehensive risk assessments.
- Strong organisational skills to manage high workload and deliver objectives efficiently.
- Flexible, collaborative, and committed to improving access to psychological therapies.
