Hours: Part-time - 22.5 to 30 hours per week
At Everyturn Mental Health, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health support. We are looking for a passionate and qualified Counsellor (Counselling for Depression) to join our Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Service on a part‑time basis.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence‑based therapy to clients experiencing low mood, depression, and anxiety, building safe, trusting relationships.
- Provide therapy through video appointments and deliver in‑person sessions at least one day per week at a Nottinghamshire hub.
- Work at least one evening shift per week (until 8pm) to support client accessibility and service demand.
- Operate autonomously as part of a high‑performing Talking Therapies team whilst receiving high‑quality clinical supervision and guidance from experienced leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a Diploma in Counselling that meets British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent accreditation requirements.
- Have a NICE‑compliant Counselling for Depression (CfD) qualification.
- Be professionally accredited with one of the following bodies (Accredited status required): British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy; National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society; UK Council for Psychotherapy.
- Have experience working in a primary care mental health setting and supporting individuals with common mental health difficulties.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Have a good understanding of Talking Therapies services and the stepped‑care model.
