Overview
Full-time or part-time applications will be considered. Our Litigation Department deals with a broad range of civil litigation work and currently comprises ten fee earners together with support staff. The personal injury team is three strong. We currently have a vacancy for a personal injury lawyer, able to run MOJ Portal and FastTrack cases, Intermediate Track cases with minimal supervision, and assist a partner on larger Multi Track Cases. Some experience of clinical negligence cases would be a bonus. The successful candidate will have about 3 to 5 years personal injury experience post qualification and could be a CILEX with full litigation practising rights, or a solicitor. We would be willing to consider those with a greater level of post qualification experience, if they are able/willing to learn new areas of litigation other than personal injury/clinical negligence; and/or have a good track record in business development and/or a client following.
We will consider both full-time and part-time applications (minimum 24 hours per week). The team is based at our Exeter office where you will need to spend at least two days per week, but hybrid working is available once you have passed your probation or you are fully integrated into the team whichever is earliest. You will need to travel out to other offices sometimes to see clients.
