Help deliver world-class free TV experiences for millions of UK viewers. The Technology Partnerships team is responsible for the testing and approval of connected TV devices and applications, and for managing Everyone TV’s technical relationships with manufacturers, operating system providers and broadcasters.
As Principal QA Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and leading QA strategy for Everyone TV’s consumer-facing platforms. You will lead the testing and approval of TV devices and Hybrid Broadcast and Broadband Television (HbbTV) based applications across Freely, Freeview Play and Freesat, working closely with TV manufacturers and UK broadcasters to diagnose complex issues and ensure high-quality viewer experiences. You will also support the development of colleagues, improve testing processes and act as a subject matter expert across the business.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in testing consumer devices or software, excellent problem‑solving skills and the confidence to work with a wide range of external partners and internal stakeholders. Knowledge of TV technologies and experience working with Linux-based environments are important, alongside a passion for learning new technologies.
