We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable self‑employed Personal Trainer to join the newly refurbished Easton Leisure Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to helping clients achieve their fitness goals.
Duties
- Provide ongoing support, motivation, and guidance during training sessions
- Instruct clients on correct exercise techniques to prevent injury
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust training programmes as necessary
- Educate clients on the importance of nutrition and lifestyle choices in achieving fitness goals
What you’ll do
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group coaching that helps members achieve real results
- Proactively generate and retain your client base on the gym floor and via outreach
- Provide expert inductions, programmes and technique guidance
- Lead engaging group sessions/classes where required
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and customer service
- Be a visible ambassador for health, fitness and the Everyone Active values
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports coaching or personal training is desirable but not essential
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Recognised qualification in personal training (e.g., REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer)
- First Aid certification is advantageous
- Level 3 Personal Trainer (CIMSPA recognised or equivalent)
- Current public liability insurance
- A growth mindset, outstanding people skills and a passion for member results
- Strong business acumen: confident marketing yourself online and in‑club
