The Duty Manager (Site Safety Coordinator) will oversee day-to-day operations at our Bristol facility, ensuring the seamless delivery of services and a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing operational procedures, maintaining health and safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves addressing any onsite issues promptly and effectively and supporting the overall success of the facility. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage daily operations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards and experience in implementing related procedures.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with both staff and members of the public.
- Experience in the leisure or health and fitness industry is advantageous but not essential.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid qualification, Pool Plant Operator & IOSH qualifications are essential for this role or willingness to obtain certification within the role.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and the use of IT systems is desirable.
