About the job: We are looking to add a Product Owner with a real passion for technology who will organize and own our roadmaps and provide valuable input regarding the shape of the product for our Platform team. Payments are core to the gambling industry and our Platform offers over 300 payment options across more than 100 countries. The candidate will maintain the current working live service and build new micro-services that will replace all the existing functionality with top-edge technologies.

What You'll get to do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Payments Product Owners, ensuring clear priorities, strong delivery, and professional growth.
  • Define and own the overall payments product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and schedules for payments initiatives.
  • Partner with technical teams to overcome challenges, plan and deliver new payment features, and balance technical debt resolution with business needs.
  • Break down complex requirements into actionable deliverables for the product owners and development teams.
  • Ensure all product documentation, workflows, and specifications are complete, current, and easily accessible.
  • Own the prioritization process and roadmap across all payment initiatives.
  • Present payment product strategy, KPIs, and progress updates to senior leadership, including C-level stakeholders.
  • Take full ownership of the payments backlog and ensure alignment between squads, POs, and business objectives.
  • Act as the escalation point and main cross-functional contact for payments-related topics across the organization.
  • Analyze payments performance (conversion, acceptance rates, cost per transaction) and drive continuous optimization.
  • Stay ahead of payment trends, technologies, and regulations to identify opportunities and ensure compliance in all markets.

What You need to know:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or people-management role.
  • 3+ years of experience in payments within the iGaming industry (PSPs, APMs, wallets, card processing, compliance, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring product owners or analysts.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Experience defining and delivering payments product strategies across multiple markets, including regulated jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical skills and experience improving KPIs such as payment acceptance, cost efficiency, and time-to-deposit.
  • Passion for payments innovation, continuous product improvement, and emerging technologies.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable, with a proven ability to see complex initiatives through to completion.
