The Role

We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on Freelance Event Setup Staff to support our high‑energy driving experience events. This role is crucial in preparing the site before customers arrive and ensuring everything is ready for a smooth, professional event day. As part of the setup team, you’ll be responsible for building and preparing the event environment ahead of operations staff and customers. You’ll work closely with the Event Manager and operations team to ensure all areas are safe, organised, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive early to assist with full event setup before customer arrival
  • Build Marquee and set up accordingly
  • Setup key areas including: Sign‑in & welcome desks, pit lane boards and signage, media and sales stations, and customer waiting areas
  • Unload vehicles from HGV lorries, assist with vehicle positioning, valet vehicles
  • Set up pit lane & track layout
  • Ensure all branding, banners, and directional signage are correctly placed including VIP areas
  • Carry out basic checks to ensure all areas are safe, clean, and operational

  • Proactive and reliable individuals who enjoy hands‑on work
  • Ability to work early mornings and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under time pressure
  • Event experience is a bonus, but not essential
