The Role
We are seeking an exceptional lead to elevate the guest experience across our nationwide events. As the professional face of Everyman, you will inspire and manage a high-performing team, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, friendly, and premium journey from arrival to departure. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment where no two event days are the same.
What the Role Involves
- Delivering approximately 100 event days per year, including most Saturdays and at least one Sunday per month (with time off in lieu)
- Regular travel to Southern venues and occasional nationwide travel (fuel and accommodation provided for journeys over 50 miles)
- Leading, training, and managing a pool of freelance staff to ensure events are consistently staffed with event‑ready professionals
- Acting as the senior on‑site lead, maintaining operational excellence throughout each event
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the event team, ensuring every guest receives a premium experience
- Oversee guest services including check‑in, photography, media, and experience upgrades
- Ensure smooth, efficient event operations while fostering a relaxed yet professional atmosphere
- Resolve customer queries and challenges quickly, calmly, and professionally
- Drive event revenue through proactive upselling of additional experiences and services
- Maintain and develop a high‑performing freelance team
- Travel to and manage operations at multiple venues
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in hospitality management or live events management
- Strong leadership capability and team management experience with a professional, hands‑on approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, confident, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel across the UK
- Commercially aware, with a track record of achieving sales or revenue targets
