The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Racetrack Events Manager who thrives in live environments. You will lead large-scale events across our Southern venues, managing teams, schedules, logistics and more, delivering worldâclass experiences. Working on approximately 100 event days per year, including most Saturdays (32 Saturdays of working year) and at least one Sunday per month (any Sunday worked will be given back as time off in lieu).
- Planning, recruiting and training freelance staff to ensure seamless event operations.
- Travel and overnight stays for events as required (expenses and accommodation provided for journeys over 50 miles from base at Dunsfold).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead events from setup to packâdown, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Manage & motivate onâsite teams including instructors, events, photographers, pit staff
- Maintain timings and schedules while prioritising safety and customer experience
- Act as the first point of contact for problemâsolving during events, both internal and external
- Recruit, train and manage freelance staff to ensure adequate coverage for all events
- Collaborate with the operations team to uphold highâquality standards
