We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Marketing Automation and CRM Manager to lead the execution, optimization, and growth of our customer relationship management and cross-channel marketing programs. This role is pivotal in driving personalized, high-impact campaigns for both our in-house brand initiatives and our client portfolio, with the Braze platform as the core technology. The ideal candidate is a Braze expert with a strong analytical mindset and proven success in campaign delivery, segmentation, and platform governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Direction & Planning: Develop and champion a cohesive omnichannel marketing automation strategy centered around customer lifecycle management, segmentation, and personalization using Braze. Identify opportunities for customer journey optimization across email, push notifications, in-app messages, and other channels. Work closely with Product, Data, and Marketing teams to define segmentation criteria, personalization rules, and the overall marketing tech stack roadmap. Define and iterate on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for all automated campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals (e.g., LTV, retention, conversion).
  • Campaign Execution & Optimization: Oversee the successful delivery and scheduling of a high volume of complex campaigns for both internal marketing initiatives and external client projects. Collaborate with Creative and Client teams to translate marketing objectives into effective, scalable automated customer journeys. Develop and maintain a rigorous testing and optimization roadmap (A/B and multivariate) to continuously improve campaign performance metrics.
  • Platform Adoption & Feature Implementation: Identify, evaluate, and implement new Braze features (e.g., Content Blocks, custom events, advanced segmentation, AI/ML tools). Develop best-practice documentation and provide training/guidance to internal teams on effective use of the Braze platform. Proactively recommend and champion improvements to existing automation workflows and customer lifecycle programs.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Design and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards within Braze and connected analytics tools. Conduct deep-dive analysis on campaign results to extract actionable insights and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Monitor customer lifecycle metrics (churn, LTV, engagement) and recommend strategic adjustments.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Marketing Automation Manager, CRM Manager, or similar role.
  • Proven, expert-level proficiency with the Braze platform (Canvas, Content Blocks, Connected Content, and API integration).
  • Demonstrable experience managing the full campaign lifecycle for multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of CRM principles, customer segmentation, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis (SQL knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be...

  • Delivery Focused: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, hitting deadlines and ensuring flawless execution.
  • A Strategic Thinker: Capable of seeing the "big picture" and translating business goals into technical execution.
  • Proactive & Curious: Always looking for ways to leverage new Braze features or technologies to improve customer experience.
