Youth Support Worker - Part Time (Temporary) @ Holmes Chapel role at Everybody Health & Leisure

Role summary: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic youth support worker to join our team and support weekly youth sessions with young people aged 11–15.

What You\'ll Do

• Lead/assist fun and engaging sessions for children aged 11–15.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people to deliver effective targeted youth work.
• Engage with young people to create and deliver informal and accredited learning opportunities.
• Build a supportive environment and ensure every session is enjoyable and inclusive.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or above in youth work or equivalent experience.
• Ability to motivate individuals and support behaviour change.
• Knowledge of young people’s issues and the barriers they face.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience of assessing the needs of young people using assessment tools.
• Commitment to creating a safe and encouraging atmosphere.

Contract & Hours

Contract: 12 Month (Term-Time Only Contract)

Hours: 3 hours per week

Location: Holmes Chapel Community Centre

Salary: £12.36 per hour

Closing date: 31 August 2025

Other Details
