Join our team as a Duty Manager! We’re looking for a Duty Manager to support the smooth, safe and effective operation of our leisure centre. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident in leading a team, and committed to delivering a high‑quality experience for all visitors.
What the Role Involves
- Overseeing day‑to‑day operations to ensure services run efficiently
- Leading the team on shift and supporting a positive, customer‑focused working environment
- Taking responsibility for health and safety, customer care, and incident management
- Managing bookings, supporting financial processes, and ensuring compliance with centre procedures
- Contributing to external accreditations such as Quest and Investors in People
- Completing site‑specific checks and maintaining high operational standards across all areas
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a customer‑facing or operational role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence in leading a team and making decisions
- A proactive approach to maintaining safety and service standards
Desirable Qualifications
- Pool Plant Operators
- First Aid at Word
- NPLQ
- Level 2 Gym Instructor
