Our Pool Lifeguard job is a LIFESAVING OPPORTUNITY and perfect for anyone wanting a career in Leisure.

Starting salary of over £24k (pro rata).

Help people of all ages live well & for longer by giving them a safe and happy experience when they come swimming. Pool Lifeguards ensure swimmers and non-swimmers keep coming back to their local swimming pool to enjoy activities such as lane swimming, pool parties, family swims and swimming lessons – creating lasting happy memories of their local swimming pool.

Salary: £24,099.67 (starting). Contracted roles follow a three‑point grading structure, with the opportunity to advance annually through the PDR (Performance and Development Review) process.

Location: Congleton Leisure Centre

Hours: Full Time – mix of midday shifts, evenings and 1 weekend in 3.

Closing date: 8th March 2026

Competency Assessment Date: 11th March at Congleton Leisure Centre, exact time TBC but expected to be 6am or 8am.

Qualifications

• NPLQ Required, or you must be enrolled on one of our NPLQ courses.
