Pool Lifeguards ensure swimmers and non-swimmers keep coming back to their local swimming pool time and time again to enjoy activities such as lane swimming, pool parties, family swims and swimming lessons - creating lasting happy memories of their local swimming pool.

Hours; Various hours available
Hours will include earlies, daytime, evenings and weekends
Salary; £24,099 per annum pro rata.

Everybody swimming pools are open 7 days a week – generally from 6am to 10pm (subject to each pool’s programme) and our lifeguards work on shift rota basis across the week and weekends.
Please be aware that all candidates applying for roles within our leisure centres or in health/sports provision are required to undergo a Standard or Enhanced DBS.
As part of this process, you are required to declare any information that may be disclosed in your DBS check before the check is initiated. This includes all criminal convictions or cautions, including traffic offences.
Failure to disclose relevant information at this stage may result in your offer being withdrawn. If you have any questions or concerns about this requirement, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
