Role Overview
Do you like working as part of a team? Do you enjoy helping others have fun playing sports or taking part in activities? Come and join us! We are looking for enthusiastic, fun activators to help us ensure young people have fun in a safe, friendly environment.
Our activators provide a fun and safe location for young people to come and relax and make friends. You must be able to deliver a variety of games, sports and challenges, creating great memories for people.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for Adult Participation Activators with a focus on Walking Netball and Walking Football. A relevant sports qualification is required. The activators provide a range of inclusive activities for all to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. This role involves supporting and caring for people and will include setting up and delivering various sports and activities, ensuring that participants are active and enjoying themselves.
Qualifications & Experience
Preferably with experience supervising groups of young people with a variety of abilities and potential additional needs, or holding a sports coaching qualification. You must have strong communication skills, planning and organisational skills, be self‑motivated and have the ability to motivate others.
Employment Details
Location: Knutsford Leisure Centre
Salary: £13.16 per hour
Hours: Casual; primarily evenings and weekends
