If so, we have the role for you – come and join our team as a Finance Assistant!
As a Finance Assistant, your role will be to support the Finance team in achieving effective management of resources, proper accountability, control, and compliance with statutory obligations and corporate standards. This includes working closely with internal colleagues to ensure correct accounting treatment of income and expenditure transactions, reconciling daily income receipts, maintaining the financial system (IRIS / PSF), and assisting the Purchase Ledger Clerk in their absence.
Other ad hoc duties will be assigned as required. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work outside of core hours if necessary.
There is potential for this role to include study support to enable completion of AAT Qualification. A suitable salary will be offered once AAT Level 4 is achieved and the job role is re-assessed.
