Are you enthusiastic, hands‑on, and love being part of exciting events? Our events team are our multi‑tasking heroes and no event is too big! From pantos to boxing, children\’s markets to tribute acts you name it, we cater for it.

And now we’re hiring to Events Assistant grow our events team to help keep making our events unforgettable experiences as we head into a busy events season!

About You & The Role

This is not your average role … yes there’s setting up stage units, cleaning, providing a warm welcoming smile, and being on hand to ensure that every event is a success … and yes late nights and weekend work will be required … but in return you’ll get to be part of a team that really can work miracles – transforming our sportshall from badminton and pickleball into a unique space for every event!

For catered events you’ll also help prepare & serve food & drink, ensuring everything runs smoothly and guests have an amazing experience.

Our Events Assistant role is perfect if you\’re looking to get your first experience in events, or as a stepping stone to learn more, and would also suit people well‑versed in the industry. Whatever your circumstances if you can deliver top‑notch customer service, have a positive, can‑do attitude, are a great team player who communicates well and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done our Events Assistant position could be the role for you.

Job Details

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Location: Wilmslow Leisure Centre

Hours: Casual (0 Hours)

Shifts: May Include Mornings, Evenings & Weekends

Closing date: 4th April 2026
