Join our team as a Swim Teacher! We’re looking for Level 2 Qualified Swimming Teachers to support the delivery of high‑quality swimming lessons for children and adults.

  • Delivering structured, engaging swimming lessons in line with our Learn to Swim programme
  • Supporting learners of all ages and abilities to build confidence and progress at their own pace
  • Creating a safe, positive environment that encourages enjoyment and skill development

  • Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, supervision, and poolside safety

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (essential)
  • Experience teaching children and/or adults in a swimming lesson environment
  • A calm, supportive approach that helps learners feel confident and motivated
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to delivering safe, inclusive, and high‑quality lessons

About The Programme

Our Learn to Swim Scheme plays an important role in helping the community develop water confidence and essential swimming skills. As part of the team, you’ll contribute to a programme that supports progression, encourages participation, and promotes long‑term water safety.

Salary

Swim England Qualified – £26,761.40
ASA/alternative Qualification – £26,431.87

Congleton Leisure Centre

Hours

3 – 4 hours per week. Adult and Child Teacher Classes at Weekends.
