As a friendly face on the gym floor who helps customers of all ages & abilities with their health & fitness needs – from new gym users, to rehabilitation and pushing the hardcore harder – you’ll help each & every customer make the most of their workout.

Delivering incredible inductions and designing programmes to help people achieve their goals is a huge part of the job, and equally as important Health & Fitness Advisors also take responsibility for keeping our gyms vibrant, safe & clean places that people want to come back to time and time again. If you enjoy working as part of a team & making people smile, our Health & Fitness Advisor job is perfect for you! It’s also a great way to boost your career in the leisure industry – with many Health & Fitness Advisors developing further – for example as Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors and Duty Managers.

Key Details

  • Level 2 Award in Fitness Instructing required.
  • Salary: Grade D – £24,099.67
  • Contract: Three point grading structure with annual advancement through PDR.
  • Location: Congleton Leisure Centre
  • Hours: 22.33 hours per week. Typical shifts may include mornings, evenings & weekends.
  • Closing date: 26th April 2026 (role closed).
