About the Role – As a Junior Research Analyst, you will be part of our growing Research team. You will play a crucial role compiling research that can help our clients understand their audience needs and the opportunities they have to stand out in the competitive digital landscape. You will work closely with our experienced team of digital marketing experts to conduct market & audience research, analyse data, and generate insights that inform our clients’ strategic decisions. You will be trained on a variety of market research methodologies and will learn how to use tools such as Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Brandwatch, STAT, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth market and audience research to identify trends, opportunities, and monitor evolving consumer behaviour primarily in healthcare and wellness industries.
  • Collecting, cleaning, and analysing data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our clients, their audiences, and the industries in which they operate.
  • Reporting to the Senior Research Manager and working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Working in collaboration with other teams across the agency, including SEO, Paid Media, Creative, and Data & Technology teams.
  • Supporting the Research team in the preparation of client presentations and reports, using visual aids and data visualization tools to effectively communicate findings.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital marketing space, and reporting these industry trends to the Research Manager and wider strategy group.

Required Skills

  • Educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or experience demonstrating a strong foundation in research, analysis, or critical thinking.
  • A passion for healthcare and wellness.
  • Curiosity and growth mindset.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint, to present data in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • A strong foundation in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, social sciences, etc.) or marketing, demonstrated through a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or through deep knowledge acquired through work or other experience.
  • Experience with primary and secondary research techniques.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
