About us
Discovery Academy opened in September 2015 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire for children and young people, aged 9 – 19 years who have an Education, Health and Care Plan for autism or a social, emotional or mental health need.Discovery Academy had its first Ofsted Inspection in July 2018. The result was good in all areas.
Job Description
The role will require you to:

You will be responsible for:
- managing classes of around nine students
- leading teaching assistants
- organising the classroom
- maintaining regular contact with parents and carers
- organising trips and visits for your class
- monitoring and reviewing short-term targets
- covering lessons in the absence of a teacher
