Our mission is to revolutionize the way people engage with reading. While operating in stealth mode as we approach our pilot launch, we're seeking a late Co-Founder to join our existing team of four, with a passion for the literary world and a drive to build a business from the ground up.

Role Description
As a Co-Founder, flexibility and adaptability are a must. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, shifting priorities, and learning on the go.
While this role will evolve as the company grows, and we’re looking for someone who will own and lead sales and marketing, building and owning relationships with publishers and book authors, developing new partnerships while driving growth and brand recognition. Your role will involve creating and executing strategies for user acquisition, revenue generation, and community engagement. You will work closely with the CEO to develop and manage a go-to-market strategy and our pre-launch campaign.
This role is pivotal in driving our client relationships, ensuring strategic growth, and building a user base excited about what we’re creating.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales/Business Development
- Conduct outreach to potential partners and clients.
- Develop and managekey relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships.
2. Marketing/Pre-Launch Campaigns
- Design and execute our pre-launch marketing campaign.
- Analyze customer insights to optimize messaging.
- Develop and manage marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Coordinate across channels (social, email, partnerships, etc.) to drive engagement.
3. Strategy & Collaboration
- Work with the CEO and team to set sales and marketing goals.
- Use data to assess campaign effectiveness and iterate.
- Identify and implement tools to improve outreach and campaign performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, marketing and business development, preferably in a startup or digital platform context.
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, relationship management, and community building.
- Experience designing and executing marketing campaigns, particularly in pre-launch or early-stage startup settings.
- Strong adaptability and flexibility, as the role will evolve with time.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting partnerships.
- Passion for reading, literature, and building a meaningful product.
- Willingness to commit to this journey full-time within the next 3-6 months.
