About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to work with our Government Grants team to ensure Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) assessors know and recommend our products. This role requires an enthusiastic, driven individual who is passionate about helping others succeed through the use of educational technology. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities, remove barriers to access, and champion the use of our tools. By building relationships, delivering impactful messaging, and tracking sector trends, you will play a vital part in growing Everway’s influence and ensuring our solutions reach the people who need them most. This is a Fixed term contract for the duration of 9 months.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as one of the team product experts within DSA sector.
- Help increase usage/recommendations of Everway products.
- Answer assessor product related questions in a friendly and timely manner.
- Deliver product presentations to assessors, trainers and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assessors, trainers and other key stakeholders to increase awareness and recommendation of Everway products.
- Communicate product feedback from sector stakeholders to product teams.
- Work closely with the DSA team to help inform future product roadmap.
- Create product-related sales enablement resources such as documents and presentations.
- Represent Everway at sector specific events.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK to attend customer meetings, events, conferences and team meetings as required.
Essential Criteria
- 2+ years experience working within the Assistive Technology sector.
- Track record of effective customer service and engagement.
- Experience and confidence in delivering in-person and online presentations.
- Experience using customer, engagement, or market data to identify opportunities and inform decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to a variety of audiences, including assessors and DSA professionals.
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree.
- CRM Database experience.
- Experience working within DSA/education sector.
- Training or professional development background.
- Experience presenting at conferences and in front of groups.
