About the role
The People division at Everway is looking for a confident, organised, detail-focused People Operations Administrator to provide hands-on support across core People Operations processes during a 5-month temporary assignment. This role will support employee lifecycle administration, People systems updates, onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, employee data maintenance, and general People Operations activity. The successful candidate will be comfortable working at pace, handling confidential information, following established processes, and producing accurate work. As this is a time-limited assignment, we are looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly, take ownership of routine administrative tasks, and work effectively with colleagues across People Operations, Payroll, IT, People Partners, and managers.
Main Responsibilities
- Support global employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, internal changes, offboarding, and routine employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and other People systems, ensuring updates are completed on time and with the correct effective dates.
- Support new hire screening activity, including initiating checks, tracking progress, following up on outstanding items, and escalating issues where needed.
- Coordinate onboarding and leaver tasks, ensuring actions are tracked and completed by employees, managers, IT, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and People Partners.
- Respond to routine People Operations queries through Gmail / Chats escalating more complex matters appropriately.
- Maintain trackers, templates, process documentation, and shared team resources.
- Support routine reporting, data checks, audit preparation, and compliance-related administration.
- Provide clear and professional support to employees, managers, and internal teams across global locations.
Essential Criteria
- 1+ year(s) experience in an administrative, coordination, HR, or office support role.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Confident using business systems, shared inboxes, trackers, and/or databases.
- Good working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly email, documents, and Excel/Google spreadsheets.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work at pace without compromising quality.
- Able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
