Role Overview
We’re hiring a full-stack Product Engineer to build the dashboard, APIs and SDKs developers use to run their payments on Evervault. You’ll own features end to end: talking to users, scoping the problem, building the backend services and the UI, then shipping and iterating. Much of the work sits behind data-heavy interfaces, so you’ll build APIs and charts that stay fast and accurate on large datasets. You’ll work in TypeScript across the stack, alongside engineers and product, and care about how the result looks and feels as much as how it works.
What you’ll do
- Own features end to end. Talk to users, scope the problem, build the API and the UI, ship it, and iterate.
- Build and extend the backend services and APIs behind our dashboard.
- Build data-heavy interfaces: charts, tables and filters that stay fast and accurate on large datasets.
- Shape the developer experience across our dashboard, APIs and SDKs.
- Work with engineering and product on what we build and why.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production software, with a strong recent focus on product engineering.
- Expert TypeScript across the stack: React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
- You have designed and shipped APIs and data models, and you know databases and query performance well.
- You have built interfaces for large or complex datasets, and you know how to make charts that are correct and fast.
- Good product taste. You start with the user problem, and you care about how the result looks and feels.
- Work you can show us, such as a portfolio, GitHub, or features you can talk through in detail.
Nice to have
- Experience building analytics or observability products, such as PostHog, Datadog, Grafana or Amplitude.
- Experience with event data and analytical databases, for example ClickHouse.
- Experience building developer-facing products.
- Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup.
- Experience with a design system or component library.
This might not be for you if…
- You want to focus purely on design or frontend: much of the work is backend APIs, data models and query performance.
- You’d rather work from a spec: you’ll talk to users and scope problems yourself.
- You don’t enjoy data-heavy work: charts, tables and filters on large datasets are core to the role.
- You want to work fully remotely: we’re in our Shoreditch office Tuesday to Thursday.
