Everup is looking for an experienced, hands-on Recruitment Specialist to support our upcoming hiring plans. This is a recruitment-focused role, not a generalist HR position. We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience sourcing and recruiting talent for e-commerce, technology and software businesses.
We expect to recruit approximately 7–10 new team members across a range of specialist roles. These may include positions in software development, technology, product management, QA/testing, e-commerce, digital and other related functions.
You will take ownership of the recruitment process from vacancy preparation and candidate sourcing through screening, first-stage interviews and delivery of qualified shortlists to our hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating Everup’s recruitment activities, including:
- Working with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles and recruitment priorities
- Preparing and publishing job advertisements across LinkedIn and other relevant specialist recruitment platforms
- Actively sourcing candidates for e-commerce, software, technology, product and QA roles
- Using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms, databases and recruitment technology to identify suitable candidates
- Conducting proactive headhunting and direct outreach to passive candidates
- Building talent pipelines for current and upcoming vacancies
- Reviewing CVs and applications against defined role requirements
- Screening candidates and managing the initial selection process
- Conducting first-round interviews remotely
- Assessing candidate experience, technical relevance, motivation, communication skills and overall suitability
- Shortlisting the strongest candidates for the relevant hiring managers
- Coordinating subsequent interviews and maintaining clear communication with candidates throughout the process
- Maintaining an organised recruitment pipeline and providing regular updates on hiring progress
- Tracking sourcing effectiveness and identifying the channels generating the strongest candidates
- Helping Everup continuously improve its recruitment process, sourcing strategy and candidate experience
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Recruitment / Talent Acquisition specialist, rather than a general HR professional. You should have:
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or specialist candidate sourcing
- Experience recruiting for e-commerce, technology, SaaS, software or other digital businesses
- A strong understanding of profiles commonly required by technology companies
- Experience recruiting roles such as Software Developers/Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners, QA Engineers/Testers and other technology or e-commerce specialists
- Confidence managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Strong experience using LinkedIn for active candidate sourcing and headhunting
- Experience proactively approaching passive candidates rather than relying only on inbound applications
- Experience conducting candidate screening and first-stage interviews
- Strong candidate assessment and shortlisting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A highly organised and responsive working style
- The ability to manage recruitment independently in a fully remote environment
- A commercially minded approach to recruitment, with an understanding that speed, candidate quality and hiring-manager experience are all important
- Experience recruiting for startups, scale-ups, SaaS businesses, e-commerce companies or fast-growing technology organisations would be a strong advantage.
Recruitment & Sourcing Tools
Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter / LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate is important, but we are particularly interested in candidates who use a broader range of sourcing methods and recruitment technology. In your application, please tell us which recruitment and sourcing tools you have experience using beyond LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate.
This could include, for example:
- Candidate sourcing and talent intelligence platforms
- Specialist technology recruitment platforms
- CV and candidate databases
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Recruitment CRM systems
- Contact-finding and candidate enrichment tools
- Boolean and advanced search techniques
- AI-assisted sourcing or recruitment tools
- Developer and technology communities
- E-commerce or digital talent communities
- Other tools or channels you have successfully used to identify passive candidates
We are particularly interested in understanding how you source difficult-to-find technology and e-commerce candidates, rather than simply which platforms you have access to.
The Opportunity
This is initially a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension or renewal depending on Everup’s ongoing recruitment needs. The position is fully remote and provides a high level of ownership over the recruitment process. You will work closely with the Everup team to identify, attract and engage high-quality talent as the company continues to grow. Our recruitment activity covers the UK, Europe and Brazil, and you may be based outside the UK.
Interested?
Please send us your CV together with a short introduction covering:
- Your recruitment and talent-sourcing experience
- Your experience recruiting specifically for e-commerce, technology and/or software companies
- The types of roles you have recruited for, particularly Software Engineering, Product Management, QA/Testing, e-commerce and related specialist positions
- Your experience on other recruitment, sourcing, ATS, CRM or talent intelligence tools you use beyond LinkedIn
- An example of how you have successfully sourced candidates for a difficult or highly specialised vacancy
- The countries or regions where you have previously recruited
- Your availability to start
- Your compensation requirements
Please make sure you attach your CV and include your compensation requirements when applying.
