Everun currently provides a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our existing wind turbine engineer team in Scotland.
Main duties and responsibility:
- Field based role, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance of Wind Turbines to the highest standards, including regular servicing schedules to OEM standards.
- Identifying, diagnostics, troubleshooting and resolution of faults.
- Achieve a high first-time-fix rate.
- Participate in main component replacement/repair (gearboxes, generators, etc.).
- Advise on the requirements and specification for replacement parts.
- Form an integral part of the on-call team.
- Work with the on-site teams, including client representatives, to address service & maintenance issues and drive overall turbine performance.
- Communicate with control centre personnel regularly and effectively.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with production and verification of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Ensure PPE, tools and Vehicles are maintained to highest standards.
Please note that these are field roles and travel within Scotland will be required - some overnights may be required. Occasional travel to Northern Ireland may also be required.

Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrable work experience in a Wind Turbine Maintenance role or an adjacent engineering field - eg electrical, mechanical.
- Strong technical aptitude (focus on electrical knowledge) with solid problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively within a team, strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to meet and adhere to strict deadlines.
- High level of physical fitness.
- Flexible working approach (comfortable working on-call including some weekends).
- Ability to read and work from plans, schematics, and spec sheets.
- Ability to understand and adhere to WTSR, RAMS and AWP’s.
- Good general understanding of Health & Safety at work requirements.
- Full UK Driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
- Level 3 qualification in relevant engineering / electrical / mechanical subject.
- 2yrs experience working on Wind Turbines.
- WTSR qualification.
- GWO suite - WAH/First Aid/Hub Rescue/Manual Handling/Fire awareness.
- Good level of IT skill including Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
- Towing/Forklift license.
