Everun currently provides a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company. Due to continued growth we are expanding our existing wind turbine engineer team.
Successful candidates with 2 years experience of carrying out O&M or MCI work on WTGs will be offered the role ofWind Turbine Engineer, with a pay range from £40-42.5,000 per year. However, we are happy to consider engineers from alternative backgrounds, eg mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, who are keen to transition into a renewable energy role. These positions,Wind Turbine Service Technician, will be offered a starting rate of between £29-32,000 per year depending on experience, and with a detailed training plan and progression to Wind Turbine Engineer.

- Demonstrable work experience in an adjacent engineering field – eg electrical, mechanical, renewable energy
Strong technical aptitude (focus on electrical knowledge) with solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform effectively within a team, strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to meet and adhere to strict deadlines
- high level of physical fitness
- Flexible working approach (comfortable working on-call including some weekends)
- Ability to read and work from plans, schematics, and spec sheets
- Ability to write, understand and adhere to WTSR, RAMS and AWP’s
- Good general understanding of Health & Safety at work requirements
- Already based in Scotland, willing to travel to NI as and when required
- Full UK Driving license
- 2yrs experience working on Wind Turbines
- Relatable qualifications in mechanical/electrical disciplines
- GWO suite – WAH/First Aid/Hub Rescue/Manual Handling/Fire awareness
- Good level of IT skill including Microsoft Office/Google Suite
- Towing/Forklift license
Main duties and responsibility:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of Wind Turbines to the highest standards
- Identifying, troubleshooting and resolution of faults
- Achieve a high first-time-fix rate
- Participate in main component replacement/repair (gearboxes, generators, etc.)
- Make a significant contribution in our Re-powering projects (refurb and build)
- Advise on the requirements and specification for replacement parts
- Form an integral part of the on-call team
- Communicate with control centre personnel regularly and effectively
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Assist with production and verification of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Ensure PPE, tools and Vehicles are maintained to highest standards

29 days leave, increasing to 34 with service (inclusive of public holidays)
