Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation, professionalism and community. During the course of a glittering history spanning three centuries, we have been shaped and guided by our aspirational motto Nil Satis Nisi Optimum - nothing but the best is good enough. One of only three clubs to have been a founder member of both the Football League and Premier League, our Men’s Senior Team has played more games in English football's top-flight than any other, winning nine league titles, five FA Cups and a European Cup Winners’ Cup.

In summer 2025, we embarked on an exciting new journey at Hill Dickinson Stadium, a world-class waterfront arena on the banks of Liverpool’s iconic River Mersey. The newest, most sustainable and most accessible stadium in the Premier League, our new home is also a state-of-the-art 365-venue for non-footballing events and conferences. On the pitch, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire, bring pride and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.

About the opportunity: We have entered an exciting new era at Everton Football Club with the opening of Hill Dickinson Stadium, and we now have a unique opportunity for an experienced and driven Stewarding Manager to lead the delivery of world-class stewarding operations across matchdays and major events. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of stewarding operations across all matchdays and major events, playing a key role in shaping the matchday experience at our new home.

  • Leading the planning and delivery of stewarding operations for all fixtures and events
  • Managing, developing, and deploying stewarding teams to ensure effective and compliant operations
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety legislation, the Green Guide, and stadium Safety Certificate requirements
  • Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including police and emergency services
  • Overseeing matchday operations, including briefings, live incident management, and post-event debriefs
  • Driving a culture of safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all supporters, staff, players, and visitors.

Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in stewarding, crowd safety, or event operations. You must have strong knowledge of UK safety legislation and best practice in spectator safety, demonstrated ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and have excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills. We want someone who has a proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering safe and exceptional fan experiences.

Please refer to the job description for further information about the role and its essential requirements.
