Since 1988, Everton in the Community has become a dynamic force for good, harnessing the unifying power of football to drive social change and addressing societal challenges across Liverpool City Region. Supported by a team of over 130 full-time staff and over 200 volunteers, the independently governed and independently financed charity offers an extensive array of more than 60 programmes and initiatives that tackle a diverse range of social issues including health, employability, anti-social behaviour, crime, exploitation, education, dementia, and disability.

About the opportunity:
As we enter an exciting new chapter building on our award-winning Neighbourhood Health Model, we have an exciting new opportunity for the role of Senior Operations Manager – Public Health, which will be key as we enhance and deliver our ambitions, culture, and strategic developments moving forwards.
The Senior Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across EitC’s adult and public health services including physical health, mental health, and the wider neighbourhood health model. The role will ensure high-quality service delivery, strong governance, robust performance management, and long-term financial sustainability.
You will play a key role in securing funding, managing multi-agency partnerships, driving innovation across the charity’s priority areas, in addition to ensuring a high level of operational efficiency within the remit.

- To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an individual who is creative, innovative, and dynamic with excellent networking and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate strategic leadership and experience of leading multiple high management teams and supporting them in achieving ambitious goals.
Our successful candidate will also demonstrate strategic-level knowledge and experience of adult services including health and wellbeing, mental health and specific population groups with a particular focus on military veterans.
The closing date of this advert is Friday 20th February 2026. This position will be offered on a Permanent Contract, 35 hours per week with the role being based at Goodison Park and Everton in the Community Sites.
