About the opportunity:
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef De Partie to join our Sports Science Kitchen department. As Chef De Partie you will be responsible for the delivery of the catering and processes that support the operation at Finch Farm; specifically meeting the nutritional requirements of the Academy playing squads and management teams located on site, ensuring the food at the Training Facility is served to the highest standard.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and serving food to the highest standard
- Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are achieved at all times in the kitchen and catering areas
- Being fully conversant with the procedures for Fire, Security, Health and Safety and Food Safety including HACCP
- Supporting all kitchen operations, offering guidance and feedback where required
Who we are looking for:
Essentially, we are looking for an experienced Chef with a minimum NVQ level 2, who has previous experience within a fast-paced, elite sporting environment, who can demonstrate experience as a Chef in a catering environment serving fresh food. You must be comfortable working with a wide variety of demands and be flexible enough to support a team in an ever-changing environment.
This is on a permanent contract, working 40 hours per week and is based within Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood).
