About the opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a Falls Prevention Worker to join our Health and Wellbeing Department. The Falls Prevention Worker will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of Everton in the Communities (EitCs) falls prevention physical activity programme across community and residential settings in the Knowsley area.

To understand the Clubs Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment.
Who we are looking for:
Essentially, we are looking for an individual who is able to develop trust and rapport with participants quickly, and work in an enabling manner to help participants improve their balance, coordination, and confidence. They should be caring and empathetic when promoting the safety, independence, health, and well-being of programme participants.

- Sound knowledge of behaviour change models/strategies to promote better health and wellbeing outcomes
- Ability to plan and deliver an older adults falls prevention programme
- Ability to collect, collate data to improve services
- Level 3 OTAGO Chair Based Falls Management Instructor / PSI
- Level 2 Gym Instructor
