I am looking for an Occupational Hygiene Technician to join an enthusiastic and supportive multidisciplinary team based at my client’s highly-acclaimed client site, Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater in Somerset. The ideal candidate will be a strong team-player who ideally has some experience of industrial and/or construction environments, looking for their next challenge or to kickstart a career in the occupational hygiene/health and environmental monitoring field. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary occupational health team, taking a self-motivated and proactive approach to your role, prioritising and managing your own workload.
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities for a range of chemical, physical and biological agents.
- Participating in specific occupational hygiene related investigations and studies.
- Carrying out regular workplace inspection to assess occupational hygiene related aspects.
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene related topics.
- Contributing to the occupational hygiene performance reports.
