I am looking for a Senior Paralegal to join one of the UK’s leading specialist lease extension teams. My client's specialist leasehold team is one of the largest in the country, acting for clients throughout England and Wales and helping around 10,000 leaseholders extend their leases or buy their freehold.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Paralegal to handle private (informal) lease extension matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and experienced property case handler who enjoys managing files, progressing matters efficiently, and delivering excellent client service within a specialist and supportive team.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a supervised caseload of informal lease extension matters from instruction through to completion and Land Registry registration. The role includes:
- Managing lease extension files on a day-to-day basis
- Liaising with clients, landlords, managing agents, valuers and lenders
- Reviewing leases and title documentation
- Preparing correspondence and documents from precedent
- Chasing and negotiating informal lease extension terms
- Preparing completion and post-completion documentation
- Handling Land Registry applications
